Terms of Service

These Terms set out the rules for using Valideum. They’re written to be read — not buried in legalese. Please take a few minutes to understand them.

Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account or purchasing any service on valideum.com (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply between you and Valideum (“we”, “us”, “our”), operating as a trading name. The governing law is that of the European Union and, where applicable, the laws of the country in which we are registered.

Description of Service

Valideum provides an AI-powered demand validation platform for entrepreneurs and founders. The core service consists of:

  • Automated AI analysis of a submitted business idea
  • Deep market research via web, forum, and competitor analysis
  • High-fidelity landing page creation and live deployment
  • Targeted paid ad campaign execution (Google, social channels)
  • Behavioural data collection and a Strategic Validation Dossier

The Platform delivers a market signal, not a guarantee of business success. Outcomes depend on market conditions and the quality of the submitted idea.

Accounts & Eligibility

To use the Platform you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • Provide accurate registration information
  • Maintain the security of your credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

Payments & Pricing

All fees are displayed in EUR (or your local currency equivalent as provided by Stripe) and are inclusive of applicable VAT where required by law.

Checkout

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your card details.

Invoicing

A VAT-compliant receipt is automatically issued by Stripe on successful payment.

Currency

Prices are listed in EUR. Currency conversion rates are determined by Stripe.

Taxes

You are responsible for any local taxes beyond the VAT we collect.

Cancellations & Refunds

Our Refund Policy

You may cancel and receive a full refund at any time before the campaign has been initiated (“Campaign Start”). Once a campaign is live, refunds are not available as ad spend is committed. For cancellations requested within 48 hours before the scheduled Campaign Start, a partial refund of 50% of the campaign fee is available. Service and platform fees are non-refundable once work has commenced.

EU Consumers: Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from digital services purchased remotely. By using the Platform and expressly requesting performance to begin before this period expires, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal no longer applies once the service has been fully performed. For partially performed services, see our partial refund terms above.

To request a refund, contact support@valideum.com with your order reference. We process refunds within 10 business days to the original payment method.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • Submit ideas or content that are illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy proprietary Platform technology
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent business information
  • Use the Service to test ideas that promote discrimination, violence, or illegal activity
  • Circumvent platform access controls or attempt unauthorised access to other accounts
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Platform without written authorisation

Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain ownership of the business ideas and all content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Valideum a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely for the purpose of delivering the Service.

Our content: The Platform, including its software, design, methodology, reports, and documentation, is owned by Valideum and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Validation reports: Once delivered and paid for, you own the Strategic Validation Dossier produced for your idea. Valideum retains no rights to use your report for marketing or other purposes without your consent.

Confidentiality

We treat your submitted idea content as confidential. We will not share, sell, or otherwise disclose your idea to any third party except as strictly necessary to run the validation process (e.g., AI analysis engines bound by their own confidentiality obligations) or as required by law. Our staff, contractors, and automated systems access idea data only on a need-to-know basis.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable EU law:

  • Valideum provides the Service “as is” and does not guarantee any specific business outcome or market result.

  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, loss of opportunity) arising from use of the Service.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death/personal injury caused by our negligence.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by emailing support@valideum.com. Account closure does not entitle you to a refund for services already delivered or in progress.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, or with 30 days’ notice for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases. Provisions relating to IP, confidentiality, liability, and governing law survive termination.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by European Union law. Any dispute shall first be addressed by good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may be referred to mediation before any legal proceedings.

EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with the changes, you may close your account before the effective date.
